Slat (Backrest) By Studioworks

Taut and monolithic, the bench with a back sits with its legs angled to the ground. Made from reclaimed teakwood and finished in monocoat polish, the hind legs extend all the way to the top of the backrest to exaggerate its independence from the whole piece. The length of the seat is slightly extended to jut out of the overall length of the bench making it look visually sturdier and chique. Upon spending more time on the bench, you start to notice how the empty spaces between different members of the bench are what make up the bench itself.
